Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026
Site: www.nisa.technology (the "Site")
What we do: AI integration, software development, and technology consulting for small and mid-sized businesses.
TODO(owner): insert the legal entity that owns and operates this Site (registered business name and, if applicable, entity type / registration number) and its mailing address. Do not publish this page until this is filled in — a named operator and a physical postal address are what bulk-mail filters and most privacy statutes expect to see.
Purpose
This privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") tells users of our Site:
- What personal data we collect;
- How we use the data we collect;
- Who has access to that data; and
- What rights Site users have over their data.
This Privacy Policy applies in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
Consent
By using our Site you agree to:
- The conditions set out in this Privacy Policy; and
- The collection, use, and retention of the data listed in this Privacy Policy.
Personal Data We Collect
We only collect data that helps us achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not collect additional data beyond what is listed below without telling you first.
Data you give us directly
We collect the following when you submit a form on our Site:
- First and last name;
- Email address;
- Phone number (optional);
- Company or organization name (optional);
- Project details, budget range, and timeline that you choose to describe; and
- Your preferred date and time when you book a consultation.
This data is collected through:
- Our contact and project inquiry forms;
- Our consultation booking form; and
- Creating a client portal account.
Data collected automatically
When you visit the Site or open or click an email we send you, we may record:
- IP address;
- Browser user agent;
- Date and time of the visit, email open, or link click; and
- Which of our emails and links you interacted with.
Email opens are measured with a standard 1×1 tracking pixel and links in our marketing email are redirected through our own click-tracking endpoint. We use this only to measure whether our own email is wanted and to stop sending to people who never engage.
How We Use Personal Data
Data collected on our Site is used only for the purposes stated here or on the relevant page of the Site:
- To reply to your inquiry and schedule consultations;
- To deliver, support, and invoice the services you engage us for;
- To operate your client portal account and show you your project status; and
- To send you marketing email about our services, which you can stop at any time (see "How to Opt Out" below).
Automated Systems and AI Tools
Our business is AI integration, so we want to be explicit about it: we may use third-party AI and automation services to help draft replies, summarize an inquiry, or prepare a proposal. Where we do, the data handled is limited to what you sent us. We do not sell your data, and we do not knowingly submit client-confidential material to a third-party service that trains on it without a written agreement covering that work.
Who We Share Personal Data With
Our own people
We may disclose your data to anyone in our organization who reasonably needs it to do the work described in this Privacy Policy.
Service providers
We use third-party providers for web hosting, email delivery, and analytics. They process data on our behalf and only to provide those services.
Other disclosures
We will not sell or share your data with other third parties, except:
- If the law requires it;
- If it is required for a legal proceeding;
- To prove or protect our legal rights; and
- To buyers or potential buyers of this business if we seek to sell it.
If you follow a link from our Site to another site, we are not responsible for and have no control over that site's privacy practices.
How Long We Store Personal Data
We keep inquiry and client data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep business records. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal suppression record — your email address and the fact that you opted out — so that we do not email you again by mistake. You will be notified if your data is kept longer than this.
How We Protect Your Personal Data
The Site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are rate limited, and account passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never in plain text. Access to stored data is limited to people who need it.
We take reasonable precautions, but no internet service can be guaranteed secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.
Children
Our services are sold to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it as soon as possible. A parent or guardian may contact us at the address below.
Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Your Data
To find out whether we hold personal data about you, how it was used, who it was disclosed to, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us:
contact@nisa.technology
(214) 962-6069
Do Not Track
Do Not Track ("DNT") is a browser privacy preference. We do not track users of our Site across third-party websites over time and therefore do not respond to browser-initiated DNT signals.
How to Opt Out of Marketing Email
Every marketing email we send carries an unsubscribe link in its footer. One click removes you — you do not need to log in, reply, or confirm. You can also unsubscribe directly at nisa.technology/unsubscribe, or email contact@nisa.technology and ask.
Opting out of marketing email does not stop transactional messages about work we are actively doing for you (for example, a consultation confirmation or a project update).
Changes to This Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy to stay compliant with the law and to reflect changes in how we collect data. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically, and where necessary we may notify users by email.
Contact
Questions, concerns, or complaints:

TODO(owner): if you want a named privacy contact (a person rather than a shared inbox), add their name here. Add a postal address as well — several privacy statutes require one, and it is a positive deliverability signal for bulk email.
